How long will it take for me to start seeing results? -
The benefits you feel—happier mood, improved energy—are just bonuses when it comes to improving your long-term health. While many people feel a difference within 1-2 weeks, some don’t notice any difference and that’s okay. It’s what’s happening inside that counts. The water-soluble nutrients (Mg, folate, B12, boron) start working right away to support your heart, nerves, and more. Fat-soluble nutrients take longer, except for D3, which helps your brain the next day if you have low levels. All in all, it takes 3-4 months for your body to reach a new equilibrium.
What makes your multivitamin different? Specially designed for vegans and vegetarians with potent ingredients and the eco-friendly packaging. We expertly select the right ingredients at the optimal dose to ensure that you get a sustainable product that works. This is why our ultimate multivitamin and mineral is a little more expensive than you'd pay on the high street.
Should my multivitamin be in capsule or tablet form? -
We recommend vegetable capsules. They’re the most natural and are easily digested. Tablets contain more bulking agents, tablet coatings and excipients. They can also be difficult to swallow and some people report that they’re harder to digest.
Is your multivitamin for vegan diets only?
Our products are suitable for everyone, every age, every lifestyle, we just protect animals and the environment along the way!
Do multivitamins have any side effects?
Plant-Based Multivitamin has been expertly formulated by our nutritionist to ensure that the levels of nutrients included are effective and safe.
Drinking alcohol regularly can deplete many important vitamins in your body. If you drink alcohol daily, you should consider a multivitamin.
Which nutrients do vegans need in a multivitamin?
If you’re eating a vegan diet there’s some must-have nutrients to look out for in a good vegan multivitamin:
Vitamin B12 -
The one we all know about! It’s really difficult to find vegan sources of vitamin B12 in significant quantities which is why it’s the one nutrient most vegans are recommended to supplement. Vegans who don’t supplement vitamin B12 are at risk of deficiency
Vitamin D3 -
Vitamin D deficiency is a population problem but also a specific issue in vegans. The NHS recommends that all adults should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of vitamin D during the autumn and winter.
Vegans are at risk of lower calcium intake; however, it is important to consider that calcium absorption is dependent on having sufficient levels of vitamin D.
Zinc deficiency in vegans is rarer than some of the other possible deficiencies. However, when considering the potential absorption related issues above it is definitely a consideration for vegans.
Iodine content in food of plant origin is lower in comparison with that of animal origin due to low iodine concentration in soil
It’s definitely possible to get enough iron through a vegan diet but evidence suggest that women eating vegan diets still don’t get enough.
Omega 3 –
A high quality Algae plant based Omega 3, vital for healthy brain, heart and eyes, particularly two types called EPA and DHA. (it is important to take a separate Omega 3 supplement as is not possible to include the required dose in a Multivitamin)

Which ingredients should I avoid in my vegan multivitamin? -
Multivitamins and other supplements will often contain extra ingredients called ‘excipients. These are non-active ingredients which are used to help the manufacturing process of the product. Here are some of the common ones:
Magnesium stearate or stearic acid. Often used as a ‘flow agent’ to help powder flow properly. Unfortunately, this ingredient is often sourced from palm oil and is an ingredient which some people think is dangerous. We don’t believe it’s dangerous but we do think there are better, more ethical alternatives available like rice extract.
Silicon dioxide. Often used in tablet formulations as a coating. Its safety is currently being investigated and could be banned in the future.
Flavourings and preservative. If packaged and stored correctly there’s no need for anything else except the active ingredients and natural excipients.
PVP/povidone. A polymer (form of plastic) that amazingly is found in some food supplements. Needless to say, we think you should avoid it!
Gelatin Capsules. Animal based capsules which are totally unnecessary in our opinion.
Vitamin D3 from Lanolin. Many vitamin D supplements are made from lanolin, which is an icky substance produced by sheep glands. We use cholecalciferol which is Vegan and vegetarian society approved as a true plant-based source of D3, derived from the algae lichen. D3 also has the added benefit over D2 of helping increase our lifespan. You won't find cholecalciferol in most other vegan multivitamins, but you shouldn't settle for less.z
